I don’t know about you, but I love skillet recipes! This easy ranch chicken recipe is a skillet meal that is so flavorful, it will instantly be added to your regular rotation. Serve it with some mashed potatoes, a salad, and one of these 6 awesome side dishes and it’s guaranteed to be a hit!
Ranch Chicken Ingredients
Chicken
2 large boneless and skinless chicken breasts (1 – 1.5 lbs)
2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper
3 Tablespoons of butter, melted
3 Tablespoons olive oil
Ranch Sauce
1 10.5 ounce can of cream of chicken soup
1 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup of sour cream (preferably room temperature)
1 oz packet of Ranch dressing seasoning mix
Ranch Chicken Directions
Slice each chicken breast into thinner slices (approximately 1/2 inch thick) so it would be more flavoring. Season with Italian seasoning and brush with melted butter and sear in olive oil for about 4 minutes per side until chicken is golden brown. Remove chicken and set aside.
Combine the ranch chicken sauce ingredients and let bubble for about 5 minutes over medium heat.
Put the chicken back into the skillet with the sauce so the chicken will pull in the ranch flavor. Partially cover and let simmer for 5-10 minutes. And if you want to crank it up a notch, you can top with cooked, crumbled bacon!
