This is it! An easy, cute, inexpensive dessert that kids and adults will love this Christmas! If you’ve been looking for tips on how to host a holiday party this year, you could probably use some good recipes too. This Rice Krispies(R) Treats cake is super easy and doesn’t take much time… plus, your guests will devour it!

Rice Krispies Treats(R) Ingredients:

4 Tbsp. butter
1 bag of mini marshmallows
6 cups of Rice Krispies(R) cereal
Icing
Sprinkles/Edible Candies for Decorating

Rice Krispies Treats(R) Directions:

Microwave 4 Tbsp. butter in a microwaveable bowl for 45 seconds or until butter is melted. Mix with 1 package of marshmallows until the butter coats all of the marshmallows. Microwave for 45 seconds, stir, and microwave another 30-45 seconds until the marshmallows are melted.

Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies(R) cereal (or a generic brand, I have used the Krispy Rice cereal from both Aldi and Meijer). Mix well. Press into two 8-inch round pans lightly sprayed with cooking spray. Let cool before removing completed. Spread a layer of icing between the two cakes before placing one on top of the other. Spread a layer of icing on the top cake. Decorate with edible candies, sprinkles, etc.

Serve!

This Rice Krispies(R) cake is a true crowd pleaser! I received so many compliments on how cute the cake was (even though I am not the best at decorating cakes) and how great it tasted! I always make this a couple of times during the month of December. The kids and adults all love it!
