I don’t know about you, but as a mom of three there are days (like, every day) that I need a little bit of self care. After years of devoting every bit of myself to my kids, I decided it’s time to pour a little bit of that energy back into taking care of myself – there are so many easy ways to be healthier today! While I still work part-time out of the home and also work from home, it’s a little easier to squeeze in that “me” time now that my two oldest are in elementary school and my youngest attends Pre-K four days a week.

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite self care ideas to try when I feel the urge to do something (not too extravagant) for myself so I can feel my best. Hope this helps you!

  1. Go to sleep earlier so you feel refreshed the next morning
  2. Stretch or do yoga
  3. Walk on the treadmill because exercise is always good
  4. Allow yourself to sit down and read a book
  5. Take a warm bath with some bath salts or bubbles

  7. Paint your nails – a little DIY mani or pedi is always a good way to make you feel better
  8. Do a foot mask so you can say goodbye to dead skin
  9. Exfoliate your skin
