It’s FOOTBALL season! That means lots of Sunday night games, and equally important, Sunday snacks like taco pizza rolls and pepperoni cheese stick roll ups! Break away from the meatballs and chips and salsa and try these perfect game day recipes I found on The Girl Who Ate Everything. Get ready to serve up some food the whole family and your guests will devour!

Taco Pizza Rolls

Serves: 18 taco pizza rolls

Taco Pizza Rolls Ingredients:

1 can refrigerated classic pizza (I usually use Pillsbury)
1/2 pound ground beef
1 1-oz package taco seasoning mix
3 Tablespoons water
1 heaping cup taco or cheese of choice, shredded
Additional toppings: tomato, onion, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole

Taco Pizza Rolls Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Brown the beef in a skillet until no longer pink. Drain. Season it with taco seasoning and water, making sure the the big chunks of beef are broken up. Let cool slightly. Spread out refrigerated pizza crust on flat surface into rectangle shape. Spread the meat and cheese and roll it all up as tight as possible, starting with the long end of the rectangle. Cut 1-inch slices with a serrated knife. Don’t use a dull knife! It’ll squish the dough and the pizzas won’t look as good.

Cook the slices on a baking sheet for about 10 minutes or until the top turn golden brown. Set out your favorite fixings, such as tomato, onion, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole.

Pepperoni Cheese Stick Roll Ups

There are so easy to make! Whip them up in just 5 or 10 minutes — more than just the kids will love them! These are perfect to put out for the Super Bowl next to the hot ham and cheese sandwiches– the garlic glaze makes them AMAZING!

Pepperoni Cheese Stick Roll Ups Ingredients:

1 8 oz package refrigerated crescent roll dough
4 cheese sticks, cut in half
1 3-oz package pepperoni slices
Optional: pizza or ranch for dipping

Garlic Butter

2 Tablespoons butter
1 Tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasonings
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Pepperoni Cheese Stick Rolls Ups Directions:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take the triangles of the crescent roll dough and put 5 to 6 pepperoni slices on each. Place half of a cheese stick on top of the pepperoni and roll up the crescent roll. Place the seam side down on the cookie sheet and bake for about 12 minutes or until golden brown. Melt the butter and combine with the Parmesan cheese, Italian seasonings, and garlic powder in a bowl. Remove the rolls when they are golden brown and brush with the garlic butter mixture. To make them even better, serve with pizza sauce or ranch. I am such a dipping sauce girl and the combo of the garlic butter and sauce make these pepperoni cheese sticks taste SOOOO good!

Football season is the perfect time for trying new recipes. Whether you need a meal for the family or a spread for your guests on Super Bowl Sunday, these two recipes are definite crowd pleasers — plus, they are SIMPLE! Enjoy!
