This slow cooker recipe for homemade Italian beef is SO heavenly! Italian beef sandwiches are one of my favorite things to eat and such an easy meal to make, plus this recipe serves a lot of people, so it’s great for a get together. It’s also a good meal if you want to have a lot of leftovers to eat later in the week, or if you want to freeze some to pull out on a busy day when you don’t have time to make dinner.

Slow Cooker Homemade Italian Beef ingredients:

3 lbs. beef chuck roast
2 packets of dry Italian dressing mix
1 cup beef broth
1 16-oz. jar of pepperoncini peppers
8 sandwich buns or bread of your choice
butter for the bread/buns

Slow Cooker Homemade Italian Beef Directions:

Place the beef chuck roast in the slow cooker and season with the dry Italian dressing and beef broth. Add the jar of pepperoncini peppers (or add less if you have picky eaters) and as much of the juice as you prefer (it adds some kick to the beef). Cook on low for seven hours. Shred the beef with a fork and remove any fat you see. Butter your bread or buns and toast lightly in the oven. Place your desired amount of beef on the bread and serve.

This slow cooker recipe for Italian beef is another one of my favorite simple and delicious recipes! It takes little prep and makes my house smell amazing. Nothing can beat throwing a few ingredients into a slow cooker and, hours later, having a warm, flavorful, and delicious meal ready to go!
