Lori Lori is a work-at-home mom of three living in Noblesville, Indiana.

I often share Crock Pot recipes because I love them, and this Italian Chicken recipe is one of my very favorites! Let’s face it; every day is a busy day. I can’t tell you how often I say to myself, “What would you do without your Crock Pot?” and it’s so true! There is nothing better than tossing a handful of ingredients into a Crock Pot mid-day and enjoying a hot, delicious meal a few hours later.

This Italian Chicken recipe is so good, and it’s only four ingredients! I can find all of the ingredients I need at our local Aldi grocery store, and the total cost is about $7. The recipe makes four servings, so it’s a really inexpensive meal, too, and I am all about that!

Crock Pot Italian Chicken ingredients:
1 1/2 to 2 lbs of chicken breasts (I use chicken tenderloins)
1 packet dry Italian dressing
1 8-oz. package of softened cream cheese
1 can of cream of chicken soup

Crock Pot Italian Chicken directions:
Combine the cream cheese and can of cream of chicken soup in a pot on low heat and stir together. It doesn’t need to totally mix together – the cream cheese stays pretty thick. Pour about half of the mixture into the Crock Pot. Place the chicken on the cream cheese and soup mixture. Pour the Italian dressing over the chicken. Pour the other half of the cream cheese and cream of soup mixture on top of the chicken. Cook on low in the Crock Pot for at least 4 hours (it will take longer if you use chicken breasts instead of chicken breast tenderloins like I do).

I serve this Italian Chicken with mashed potatoes or shred the chicken and serve it over rice or noodles.  It is delicious! The sauce is so good I could almost lick my plate clean! Enjoy!
