Lori Lori is a work-at-home mom of three living in Noblesville, Indiana.

A few years ago, a friend of mine shared her recipe for homemade margaritas on the rocks and it is too good to keep to myself! Margaritas go hand in hand with warmer temps and summer months, and this version of the best-loved tequila treat will make your taste buds smile all summer (really all year) long! Serve it along your favorite taco, enchilada, or chicken tortilla soup meal.

What are you making for Cinco de Mayo this year — or what is your favorite Mexican-themed recipe? Share it with us in the comments!

Ingredients for Homemade Margaritas on the Rocks

1 can frozen limeade

1 can of water (use the limeade can)

1 can of tequila (use the limeade can)

2 bottles of Corona beer

1 can of Sprite or 7-Up

Mix in a large pitcher.  Serve in cups with ice and lime sliced for garnish.  You might as well go ahead and double this recipe because these delicious margaritas will go quickly.  Enjoy!
